Marti Mayne is an avid inngoer and a part-time travel journalist, pushing the envelope with adventure travel to keep the adrenaline running at all times. When not dogsledding in Canada or tree climbing in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Marti lives in Cousins Island, Maine.

In 2009, Mary authored “Running a Bed and Breakfast For Dummies,” hailed as the ultimate guide for
aspiring innkeepers. She has been a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, Martha Stewart Radio, Inns Magazine, Louisiana Road Trips and Examiner.com
and has appeared in numerous articles relating to B&Bs, travel, small business and entrepreneurism. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hartford and a Master of Business Administration from Pace University. A proud mother of two, Mary currently lives in New York City.
