What we loved: Fabulous food, the innkeeper and cookbook author, shares her passion for food with her guests. The inn has been honored with numerous awards including Best Breakfast in New England and Best Savory Breakfast Recipe of the Year.
One guest summed it up…”If a country inn exists in heaven, it’s the Birchwood Inn” and a warm welcome and tantalizing food await all who visit this historic Lenox, MA Inn. All rooms have luxurious, freshly ironed sheets, private baths and lavish, modern amenities. The real treat, however, is the food, starting with the freshest ingredients used in the homemade full country breakfast each morning. And the gastronomic experience doesn’t end at breakfast. After a full Berkshires day, relax with afternoon tea and freshly baked pastries fireside in cool seasons and porch-side during warmer temps.
