his is not like a Bed and Breakfast but more like a small European Inn!” exclaimed a CEO and his wife who had lived in Europe. “Good!” thought

Elise, innkeeper of A Storybook Inn. That was the intent. She wanted to create a well-appointed, gorgeous haven in this historic mansion that was welcoming, romantic, very private, and serene for her guests. Elise is a bit of an Anglophile in that she has always loved all things English, especially English literature. When she first saw the property, with its nooks and crannies and guesthouse and and old carriage house, she called her daughters whom she had read to hours a day when they were younger and said with great enthusiasm, “This place is so storybook!” This year marks the 10th Anniversary of A Storybook Inn. Having been chosen twice as in the Top Ten Best Overall Bed and Breakfast in America by Bedandbreakfast.com and being a Select Registry property for nearly all that time, the success of A Storybook Inn has exceeded Elise’s wildest dreams. Creating the fantastically appointed private suites themed after classic movie was a challenge and a delight as she appointed them down to the last detail. Casablanca…exotic and spacious but in a manner that shouts good taste.

My Fair Lady…sunny, gorgeous views of the rose garden and falls in the ancient stone pond and the so comfortable 4-poster king bed!

Gone With the Wind…so southern and elegant that you would swear that Rhett and Scarlet had been there!

Somewhere In Time…at nearly 1000 sq feet is the presidential/bridal suite of the accommodations.

Guests that have traveled the world have whispered and exclaimed aloud to Elise that it Is the, “Nicest suite that they have ever stayed in anywhere in the world.”

The Huntsman Chase Guesthouse is so perfect that

Elise is asked often for the floorplan. Floor to ceiling stone fireplace.

It has 3 full bedrooms and baths but you can rent only the downstairs if you only need the downstairs. Large flat screen TV, full kitchen, gas grill, deck across the back facing

The breakfasts are amazing as are the afternoon snacks guests are treated to daily

Once couples, discover the elegant amenities and service, they cannot wait to come back again and again.
