The inn has 10 rooms and it is a very romantic example of the 1800’s. Most rooms have Jacuzzis for two, and half the rooms offer fireplaces.

Honeymooners love the surprise when walking in their accommodation; rose petals are placed in the shape of a heart on their bed. For anniversaries champagne is abundant and local chocolatier Chatham Candy Manor makes a heart shaped chocolate in a box with a beautiful ribbon on it.

Guests are continually spoiled upon check-in as they are offered a glass of wine, coffee and tea, and before dinner cordials of brandy port and sherry are served in the parlor. Every afternoon you will also find an informal tea with cookies and baked goods.

‘Come in as a guest one day and leave as a friend and come back every year as good friends.’

Thinking of getting married? You will find Elopement packages for two: The Captain Farris House works diligently at romance and caters to ‘quiet weddings’ and they take care of everything,

If you are looking for a special place then this is it, the setting is perfect and waiting for romantics of the heart.
