Dr Sally Ann Forsyth Director
Sally Ann is Chief Executive Officer of Norwich Research Park , home to 4 national life science institutes , the University of East Anglia , the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital and over 40 businesses . The aim is to further develop this unique cluster into a world leading science park .
Her previous role was Director of Science Parks for Goodman International where she was Director for Harwell Oxford and Colworth Science Park . Prior to joining Goodman Sally Ann spent 20 years with Unilever Plc and Unilever Ventures .
Tracey Smith Director
Tracey Smith is managing director of York Science Park and her tenure there spans nine years , four of them at the helm . Tracey manages 137,000 sq . ft . of specialist space including the Innovation , Bio and IT Centre ’ s and grow-on space at Enterprise House .
Her portfolio now includes The Catalyst , embedded space on University of York ’ s Campus , which provides space for digital , IT , media and creative companies , and Springboard which is located within the Ron Cooke Hub and provides a low cost start-up solution for early-stage companies .
Mervyn Watley Director
Mervyn has been the Director of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities at Catalyst Inc since February 2007 . His role encompasses capital development , lease management , facilities management , marketing , business development , event management and the running of its incubator .
During Mervyn ’ s time in his role , Catalyst Inc has developed considerably as a Science Park , increasing its real estate portfolio , seeing 50 % of its tenants grow by 100 %, grown its tenant portfolio from 10 to over 100 and developed its Propeller incubator unit .
