UKSPA Services
A key objective of UKSPA is not just to provide services for science parks and incubators , but also where possible to support tenant companies and their employees . Over the next few years UKSPA will work with its members to develop ways of helping tenants to network and collaborate nationally and internationally .
The UKSPA website is constantly being improved to deliver better online networking and access to information , and also allow greater promotion of tenant companies for individual science parks .
Networking opportunities and workshops at our Members ’ Meetings , which are held three times a year provide valuable opportunities to discuss issues of common interest .
UKSPA offers a range of promotional opportunities to publicise the activities and services of individual science parks – through the website , the UKSPA Quarterly Journal ‘ Innovation into Success ’ and at Conferences and Events .
UKSPA International
UKSPA has a small number of Overseas Members operating outside the UK who wish to have direct contact with UKSPA ’ s members and the UK network .
Enhancing the movement ’ s international profile is an important objective to the future work of the Association . UKSPA continues to take opportunities to work with international science park associations .
The Association ’ s work with the British Council in China has led to other potential opportunities to promote UKSPA as an organisation that can deliver professional training and consultancy services through its membership . To this end UKSPA is a founding member of WAINOVA ( World Alliance for Innovation ) which has a mission to ‘ contribute to the world ’ s economic and social development by promoting innovation , technology transfer and the establishment of technology and innovation-based companies .’
