Cool Repair Scientific was started by Arien Lettinga in 1996 . Arien is originally from Holland and served in the Dutch Navy as a ships Engineer . He moved to the UK in the late 1990s and decided to start his own refrigeration company , specialising in Ultra Low Temperature ( ULT ) freezers for the scientific industry .
Since then the company has grown and so has the range of services we offer .
We offer a range of packages to suit client servicing and breakdown requirements , specialising in laboratory fridges , -20 ° C , -40 ° C , -80 ° C freezers and cryogenics .
To celebrate 20 years , Cool Repair are organising an open day during summer 2016 , where you can come and chat to our staff and have a tour the facility .
We are currently in the process of refurbishing our second facility in which MTS Cryo Stores , our sister company will provide its existing services of offsite sample storage and disaster recovery .
