You asked for it – now we have it! We have expanded the S-BT threaded screw
stud family to now include the S-BT High Current. This product was specifically
designed for grounding and bonding high current applications in mildly or highly
corrosive environments.
The new S-BT HC incorporates a tin coated copper disc to the existing screw
stud, and allows for the use of cable up to 4/0 AWG. The fastener is IEC certified
at 14.4 kA/1s and UL certified at 10.1 kA/9s. The S-BT HC provides a perfectly
sealed electrical connection to the steel base material, and is ideal for use on ¼”
or thicker coated steel eliminating the need for rework.
All S-BT products are designed for fast and easy install and do not require
special equipment, external power sources, or propellants for installation.
