action with my daughter. I am always making something, or re-purposing things. I spend a large portion of my year involved in the haunted attraction industry, it’s rather enjoyable. I love all different forms of music! I tend to listen to classical, Ghost is great, his silly little show voice makes me laugh… A lot of my friends are in some pretty cool bands, I get spoiled with live shows. My boyfriend, Shane Munce is an amazing tattoo artist who happens to tattoo a lot of people in the music industry. One of my best friends is currently on The Voice, so I don’t really have a favorite, I’m surrounded by so many wonderful, talented people! How was your first shoot? Were you nervous? What advice would you give new models about how to prepare? Modeling can be a very rewarding experience. I feel like the industry has become something very different than it used to be. There are many different forms of modeling as well, runway and high fashion, editorial, print, alternative, and so on… I am only 5’5” so that doesn’t exactly fit into the high fashion bracket but I was still able to do some rad shows in really big shoes. I kind of fell into modeling. I think as a kid I did some dancewear attire first... then some conservative stuff for Limited and Gap. It always just seemed fun, and a paycheck that was rewarding! I think it can be tricky as far as tattoos are concerned. Designers don’t have to abide by any specific standard. If I am modeling a piece of, let’s say, formal wear and the designer doesn’t want tattoos to show or they take the focus off of the article being sold, then they are covered. I would say new models should work on building a really strong portfolio, the more experience the better. There are a ton of people these days who are willing to throw a free t-shirt at you for some skimpy pictures, make a smart decision especially if you want to do it as a profession. Have fun first and foremost, be confident, look back at your pics and see what you can tweak. Learn to pose, and do not wear hair bands on your wrist! Tell us about the photo shoot with Boss Lady Photography for these images. She is amazing! We have so much fun! Chrissy (Boss Lady) is one of those people who just makes you feel great and smile nonstop! She allows you to feel comfortable and sexy. We have even ventured through mosquito filled swamp land to shoot, ended up with a bamboo injury and it was still worth it. We have a blast, and her images are beautiful! I adore her!
