Veronica is a trainer in many ways - in fitness, coaching healthy living,
and working with her dogs, all in order to share her desire to help
others. In Orange County, she didn’t encounter the problems she did
in Michigan. She had many more personal training clients, online
and in person, operating out of Rise Above Fitness, founded by
Brandon Schieppati of the band Bleeding Through, who is also a
member of the “straight edge” community. She trained at the gym
herself and also with clients and traveled to fitness expos with
Rise Above Fitness to promote the gym, its clean and healthy
environment, promoting supplements that were drug-free, and
personal training. Veronica and Nick were a part of the Rise
Above Fitness crew and it was a perfect match.
Working with her personal training clients, Veronica told
me, gives her even more motivation. She sees how hard
they work and it only makes her work harder. Unless she’s
sick, Veronica is at the gym almost every day. She has
created a life where not only does she take care of her
body, she gets to help others do the same - to get in
shape, get healthy, and feel good about themselves.
Her aim to share how great it feels to be healthy and
fit caught on over her years training, which she said
can seem daunting to people, to take that leap. It
seems like a lot of work, and at the start unattainable. There is nothing that makes Veronica more
pleased than to see her clients take that first step,
sign up, and then progress into the healthy body
they never thought they could attain.
