Veronica has had a passion for fitness since she was young, always playing sports with her father and brother. In high school, she spent time in the weight room which began her love for bodybuilding. Veronica has also been “straight edge” for thirteen years. Playing around with the “nonstraight edge” life for a while, she discovered early on it wasn’t for her. She had a passion for clean living, fitness, and helping others. Growing up in Michigan, Veronica went to college there, pursuing an arts degree but later discovered that also wasn’t for her and with her desire to share her passion for healthy living and fitness, she became a certified personal trainer. Unfortunately, that didn’t pay the bills and she couldn’t find enough clients that were interested in emerging themselves into the lifestyle of a healthy diet and a training program that she had to offer. After trying this for several years, she decided to add physical therapy to her repertoire of services and training. As Veronica worked two jobs, her knowledge of physical therapy would even better serve her personal training clients for what to do when a muscle got pulled or a sports injury occurred. She immersed herself in a life she loved. But that’s not where her story ends. It was also in that time that Veronica adopted London, a rescue Pit whom she works with diligently and strongly advocates for the good nature of the breed. 74 InkSpiredMagazine.com
