Opener, Kozah, an energetic and dynamic young producer and DJ from Greece is definitely one to keep an eye out for. Ecotek, still ahead of his time, killed it. At night one’s peek, Flosstradamus summoned the Hdynation and brought the right sound to get the crowd crazy. Pegboard Nerds got wild and showed us that the nerds come out at night. Seven Lions and Above and Beyond were as epic as ever. It was only the first of three nights and it was nothing less than a night to remember. As Sunday marked the last day of the epic event, you could see that some of the attending already partied two nights prior, a certain level of exhaustion had fallen over them. Looking at them, one couldn’t help but wonder if they would even be able to muster up enough energy to make it through a third night. But before you could even try to unwire that question, the bass line hit and a newfound level of life washed over them. It was back to the same shenanigans, breakdancing, heads bopping, and irreversible smiles. On this night, all cares were washed away. Red Rocks was the center of the universe. Green Velvet smashed the audience. Kill the Noise did what he always does and melted faces. The set from Benny Benassi had the crowd singing along with one of the many classic songs played by such a great producer. And what better way to close the curtain on a such a monumental event than an almost two hour set from one of EDM’s most beloved DJs, Tiesto. It was truly a night for the books. As the second night of the festival began, the booming continued and as before, the excited party people came bellowing in. Breakout producer, Illenium was definitely a highlight of the day. On this night, we were blessed with DJ Fury and MC Dino, back-toback as always, showing us that even an opening act is hard to follow. It was a great start to a massive second night. As the night progressed and the sun came down, we witnessed some classic tunes from Doctor P, followed by a huge and unforgettable set from Datsik. As they played, the wall of bodies bounced and waved their fists in satisfaction. And of course, what better way to close out the evening than showcase one of EDM’s legends, KASKADE, who as always, played with a passion that only he could. The crowd left with a certain level of amazement on their faces, hurrying quickly to their nearest mobile device.
