Module 1 – General Management
• Leadership for Innovation : The future Business Model This leadership mindset is not only focused on outcomes but also on the know-how and the process taking place . Creation of a systematic MC will also result in the creation of the right leader at right time and a place for nurturing new leadership .
• “ Silo ” Elimination Breaking down silo barriers between individuals and departments will ensure smooth and effective MC and the attainment of a common objective , affirming further the spirit of unity among members of the organisation . The silo mindset is eliminated through horizontal communication , empowerment , teamwork building , and continuous improvement . Past experience in MC execution reveals that interdepartmental co-ordination is a difficult barrier to manage if there is no standard or systematic approach to be followed in executing an MC activity .
Module 2 – Management Accounting
• The Balanced Scorecard Systematic MC is involved as one of the linkages of performance measures shareholders ’ and the customers ’ perspective or goals become the objective to be achieved . A systematic MC execution provides a good performance management tool for a project team to improve decision making and problem solving and ensure a speedy and proper handover to the operation team .
