INGENIEUR Complex Engineering Problems and Activities for Engineering Programme Accreditation By Ir. Prof. Dr Abdul Aziz Abdul Raman and Ir. Prof. Dr Ramesh Singh Associate Directors, Engineering Accreditation Council A s a full member of Washington Accord (WA), the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) can take pride in ensuring that the majority of the engineering programmes offered in the country meet international standards. There are a set of requirements that need to be adhered to and by being a full signatory member, the degrees obtained by graduates from BEM accredited programmes will be recognized in these countries under the mutual recognition spirit.
