2.0 The Registration of Engineers Act 1967
The REA has been amended six times since it was
first enacted in 1967 (as Act No.66) over 40 years
ago. A list of amendments is as shown in Table 1.
Act A1479 is the latest law that amends the
REA with the title “Registration of Engineers
(Amendment) Act 2015” or REA (2015) in short.
