Space technologies and GIS can aid
countries in their efforts to establish improved
water resource management such as in dam
construction, sustainable river water redirection
and rainfall pattern observation. Improved water
resource management ensures the availability and
sustainable management of water and sanitation
for all (SDG 6). One example of space technology
