INGENIEUR Materials Security and Waste Management for Industrialised Building Systems (IBS): Towards Sustainable Construction is the investigation of the material usage and waste management in IBS construction projects. Utilisation of Waste Materials for the Production of Concrete Pedestrian Blocks (CPB) deals with the use of waste from construction or demolition as a source of aggregates to produce CPBs. Based on all the studies mentioned above, stakeholders could capture the local experiences as well as global practices on construction waste management and sustainable construction through lessons learned and transfer of best practices. Conclusion The opportunities in managing construction waste throughout the life cycle of a building are intricately associated with many elements. Law enforcement is important to ensure that construction waste management can be imposed and required at an early phase. Integration of multi-disciplinary stakeholders during the planning and design stage is crucial to managing a construction project. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a tool that enables all the stakeholders to work under an integrated environment. BIM can be used as a complete process for transferring a set of data to achieve interoperability throughout the life cycle of a building. Technology
