Nowadays a lot of teenagers want to have sex but quite often they are not careful. They do not get the right protection, and the girl ends up pregnant. The girl has so many thoughts and fears about keeping a baby or not, and most of the times, they choose abortion.

This article intends to inform teenagers about teen pregnancy and give them guidelines about this important situation that can happen to anybody.

To begin with, sexual responsibility is one thing that is really important because this is where the whole situation begins. Initially, someone has a responsible sexual life when he does not have certain conditions such as hygiene in terms of diseases, viruses and personal cleanliness. Both sexual partners need to protect themselves from diseases and take some kind of contraception.

There are different methods of contraception such as long-acting reversible contraception that lasts for a long time, hormonal contraception that prevents pregnancy, barrier contraception that stops the sperm entering the vagina, emergency contraception that is approved to be taken after unprotected sex, fertility awareness that teaches you the signs of fertility in your menstrual cycle to help you plan or avoid a pregnancy and permanent contraception which prevents all future pregnancies.

To sum up, every teenager should think about the decision they make before they regret it. We hope our guidelines are useful and influence teenagers to set an example to our society.
