Strategic Objectives To be an international university To be a preferred partner The Information Strategy will establish systems that underpin the development of good communications with students and staff overseas. Interactions with external communities will be enriched and the student experience will be equitable to that of home-based students. 1 2 3 Aims External facing information must represent the corporate brand of the University. Overseas students will have access to systems and services comparable to those provided to home-based students. New approaches and models for international service delivery of information for teaching and learning are enabled taking advantage of the potential of the on and off campus network environment. The systems, resources and support that the Information Strategy delivers enable staff to be productive and confident in their use of information. Core IT infrastructure is robust, up-to-date and supports the functions of the University. The availability of information services and systems is maintained 24/7/365. Information should be held securely with the necessary protection to ensure its confidentiality, availability and integrity. All members of the University should have access to the information they need in order to fulfil their work responsibilities or undertake their studies and/or research. Information services of the University support the business functions of the University. The availability of management information is maximised. Project Management is provided to ensure projects delivered on-time and on-budget. Explore new opportunities in service delivery provided by developments in technologies. 10.
