Scope of the Information Strategy
The Information Strategy covers information that is:

integral to the University’s teaching, research, knowledge transfer and
commercialisation programmes;
essential to support our business processes and internal and external
stakeholder partnerships;
necessary for compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;

key to effective communications and management.

working towards an integrated information environment;
The entire thrust of the Information Strategy is to be improving and enabling by:

providing students and staff with access to a range of high quality
information sources and resources;
providing the tools to assist and enable the management of the University;
providing appropriate access and information tools to advance and promote
the University’s research and knowledge transfer capabilities.
Underpinning this is the continuing requirement to review the structures and
provide the necessary resources to achieve our ambitions.
