I really couldn't pinpoint it to one person or thing. My Dad was very supportive of my writing and voice work. He and my Mom always made me feel that I was capable of doing anything and everything I wanted to do. Whatever that was (as long as it was legal!) they were 100% behind me.
My first favorite book was Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. It's still one of my favorites today.
