Journey to Freedom

"Journey to Freedom is a book set in the Civil War and takes the lives of several people and intertwines as they strive to attain their freedom. Filled with interracial relationships and the quest for freedom, they are taken through a journey prior to the civil war, through the Underground Railroad, and into the war. Towards the end of the book, there is a theme of Christianity that many readers were not expecting. Back in that day and age of the United States, there were bold Christians who spoke more direct that we would today regarding Christianity. I tried to portray the time period as accurately as I could taking some creative artist license to subjective. Some of the readers put on Amazon review that the Christianity in the book did not turn them off the book even though the reader was not religious."

Their Journey Begins

"Their Journey Begins is an anthology to Journey to Freedom. It was actually written in response to reader’s feedback that they wanted to know what was going on with Greggory, Marrissa, and Daniel prior to them meeting as adults in Journey to Freedom."
