Do you have a favorite book or character that you have written?

My favorite character that I have written about is Alisa from my work in progress, The Inner Chamber. She is a symbol of beauty, strength, perseverance and courage. I believe she is a reflection of all the strong women that I have met in my life and who have overcome adversity by being the best person she could be. Alisa, in my book, is about to be thrown curve balls that will make even the strongest person buckle and it is interesting to see her react to the situations in the story. The Inner Chamber is a Christian Suspense/Thriller with spiritual warfare thrown in the mix. I have beta readers who say the book is comparable to one written by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti. I was humbled and honored to be reconciled to those two great authors.

Who or what would you say has motivated you to write?

Writing to me as is breathing. I can’t live without it. Even in the years that I wasn’t writing a story, I was writing poetry, and in my journal. I went through a very difficult divorce and the writing helped me through that stage of my life. Creating stories breathes life within me which extends to both my home and work life.
