IGE: Tells us about yourself, who are you and what do you do?

First off, thanks for having me. I`m Miguel Nogueira, I`m a hybrid, I like anything from photography, digital art, drawing, and I mix them all together to convey an idea. At the moment, I`m doing freelance work for video games as concept artist here and there, wherever I find work but graphic design is still my main source of income, because I`ve been doing it since I was 14 years old, which makes it...13 years ago!

IGE: When did you start drawing?

I can`t remember, it was when I was very young, then I stopped at around fifth grade to pick up on science, history and all other classes that demanded more attention for my grades, although I`ve never really been a bad student at any of those, I just felt drawing wasn`t that important at the time, probably pressure.

IGE: What’s your favourite art work?

It`s hard to say, probably the works of Jamie Reid for Sex Pistols. That man was not afraid to be bold.

IGE: What work do you most enjoying doing?

Anything that does not require thinking, there is

something beautiful in the raw, spontaneous work that you can only get by tackling the

inspiration from the moment and push it forward to a final format. I like to think the work

comes off without anxiety in itself, like if you think 4-5 times before saying something to

someone, if you have too much anxiety and measure every inch of your stuff, it`ll come off

weak or that you`re trying too hard, it definitely works the same for art.
