IGE: Would you say all of this is a hard thing to learn?

If you fail to plan you plan to fail. There`s no secret, by that I mean jumping in zbrush should be executing your 2D concept ideas rather than actually searching for ideas (although you can sketch in 3D it takes longer!) Learn how to draw in 2D before. It will save your months of work eventually. Sculpting in 3D means it needs to look good in all angles! You are only making it harder for yourself! Michelangelo knew all about anatomy and draw it perfectly

Before he started a sculpture which would take him years to complete with the help of his assistants, If you think you don``t need to know how to draw, and learn anatomy then good luck, it will take you twice as long. You can`t disguise your ignorance of a subject for very long.

Having 2D skills to transpose into 3D makes it easier for you.

If you haven`t got 2D skills you make it harder for yourself

It`s a bit like wanting to drive a formula 1 without having a knowledge of the circuit! You`ll hit the walls hard and it`s about anticipation of what issues are about to come. Knowing how to draw an ear by heart without even looking at reference before sculpting it, is easier down the line but it takes a huge amount of work to get to that point for every part of the human anatomy.
