Pleasant Hills Middle School DAN COMO, PRINCIPAL
PLEASANT HILLS MIDDLE SCHOOL- “A SCHOOL TO WATCH”
C
ongratulations to the students
and staff of Pleasant Hills
Middle School for being
recognized as a “School to
Watch!” Each school year the Pennsylvania
Association for Middle-Level Education
(PAMLE) undergoes a rigorous review
process in which they evaluate schools
across the state based upon 37 criteria
that are critical to high-performing middle
schools. Pleasant Hills Middle School joins
a select group of schools who have earned
the prestigious designation. Less than 40
middle schools in Pennsylvania and only
370 nationally are identified as Schools to
Watch! The school was recognized at the
PAMLE state conference held at Penn State
University in February and the national
conference on June 19 in Washington
D.C. This is the second recognition for
PHMS in the past six years. PHMS is truly
a special place where students, staff, and
community show their JAGUAR PRIDE on
a daily basis.
