Adult Mental Health
First Aid Training
Saturday, April 7 – 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Borough of Jefferson Hills Municipal Center Community Room
Mental Health First Aid is a national
program that teaches the skills to
identify, understand and respond
to the signs of mental illness and
substance abuse. Jefferson Hills
Library is pleased to host this
informative seminar for church
leaders, community groups, families or
other interested community members.
Just as CPR helps you assist an
individual having a heart attack,
Mental Health First Aid helps you
assist someone experiencing a mental
health or substance use-related
crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors
and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns,
strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis
situations, and where to turn for help. For ages 18 and older.
To learn more or to register, contact Shauna Frantz from
Jefferson Hospital 412.650.1133 or [email protected].
Mahjong Anyone?
We are looking for people who would like to play

has been gaining in popularity locally. If you are
interested in either learning Mahjong or playing with
experienced players at the Library, contact Jane Milner at
[email protected] or call the Library at 412.655.7741.
We will get back to you about potential days and times to
