Summer Recreation Counselors
WANTED
If you are age 18 and over and would like to be a counselor in the Borough’s
Summer Recreation Program weekdays in July, stop by the Jefferson Hills Library
or Borough Administrative Office and pick up an application. Applications are also
available on the Borough web site, jeffersonhillsboro.org. Applicants must be willing
to obtain the three security clearances that are required for working with children.
Counselors will be paid $9.50 per hour for 4 hours each day, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

West Jefferson Hills Historical Society Programs
The public is welcome to join the Historical Society for its
Wednesday evening meetings at 7:00 p.m. in the Borough of
Jefferson Hills Municipal Center Community Room, 925 Old
Clairton Road, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025.
April 25 “Lobbs Run Cemetery”
Grant Stoner will share the discoveries he uncovered after the
extensive research he conducted on Lobbs Run, a historic
cemetery located in West Elizabeth.

Frontier”
Norene Beatty, a member of
the Friends Saving Pittsburgh’s
Old Stone Tavern, will lecture
on people and events of the
American Revolution on the
American frontier.
