Summer Paving in Jefferson Hills The 2018 Jefferson Hills paving program included the resurfacing of approximately 2.5 miles of roadway located over various Borough owned streets. The project was awarded to Mele & Mele & Sons, Inc. at the April, 2018 Council meeting. Work began in June, 2018 and included the milling of existing roads, adjustment of manholes and water/gas valve boxes, placement of new asphalt, sealing of the new asphalt, and restoration behind the curb. The roads that were included in the paving program were Wray Drive, Sparta Drive, Baker Drive, Acorn Lane, Shag Bark Court, Southwood Drive, Hidden Oak Drive, Timber Lane, Thomas Jefferson Road and Shady Timber Lane. The contractor also milled portions of Waterman Road West and State Street so that they could be paved in-house by the Public Works Wray Drive Department.
