Fresh Paving
for Crossover Drive
If you drive or bike Crossover
Drive, which runs through Golden
Gate Park, you may have noticed
something different: the road is
smooth.
Our paving crews laid down 1,418
tons of asphalt – about the weight of
203 large African elephants – to get
the job done.
Crossover Drive connects Park
Presidio Boulevard and Fulton Street
at 25th Avenue, getting people
between the Sunset and Richmond
districts.
Prior to the resurfacing project the
road was rutted and bumpy. The
project, which started in late May,
wrapped up June 6.
