Q: Is there a particular bead and/or jewelry artist you admire or who you consider a role model?

JC Herrell is a bead artist I admire enormously. Not only is she a very precise beadmaker and the best teacher I have had she also encourages positive thinking which is very much my ethos.

Q: You have won the Glass Beadmakers UK Jewellery Category for 2014. Do you have a next goal you want to accomplish?

Following on from the necklace I designed for that competition I am working on a range of jewellery on the theme 'Fire and Ice' that I hope one day to exhibit at a gallery.

Q: If you were not a bead/jewelry artist, what would you be doing?

Probably still printing t-shirts lol!

Q: Do you have a life motto and if so, would you like to share this with us?

Not particularly but I tend to be quite a positive person and rarely let anything beat me and I am always open to trying something new.

Q: Do you have tips, tricks or advice you like to share with us?

Well in terms of lampworking it would have to be practice, practice, practice.
