9TH ANNUAL
MISSION MALL
This year’s annual Mission Mall will
be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist
Church, located at 1965 Ferguson
Road in Allison Park. Over 34 tables
representing 21 local and international
nonprofit groups will sell both unique
and practical handcrafted and fair trade
items, made by local artisans and those in
developing countries. All sales go directly
to each group’s mission charity. Make
your money work for good by shopping

ANNUAL YULETIDE
TOUR IS SATURDAY,
DEC. 2, FROM
10 A.M. TO 10 P.M.
This family-friendly day hosts a variety
of events, from a children’s party with
Santa at the Community Center (pre-
registration is requested), sleigh rides,
crafts and s’more making at GAPP Park,
to a stuff-your-stocking walking tour of
the local business district, where visitors
can acquire various trinkets, coupons, and
promotions for their holiday shopping
needs. The day winds down with Santa
lighting the Christmas tree at 6 p.m. at
the park in the town center. There also
will be live entertainment throughout
the day. The celebration continues into
the evening where adults can warm
themselves with holiday-inspired drinks
at one of the many local establishments.

FOURTH ANNUAL
EDU-NATIONS
BENEFIT CONCERT
Memorial Park Church is pleased to
announce the fourth annual EduNations
Benefit Concert on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.
featuring Christian music artist Sara
Groves. The concert will be held in the
church sanctuary and is free of charge. A
goodwill offering is encouraged and all
proceeds will go to EduNations.
Founded in 2004, EduNations is
a nonprofit organization devoted to
building schools and a future for the
forgotten children across the continent
of Africa, beginning in Sierra Leone.
Motivated by compassion for “the least
of these,” EduNations seeks to connect
resources from affluent societies with
the needs of the poorest in the world
to provide education, opportunity and
hope. The annual benefit concert is one
of the primary fundraising events for the
organization each year.
Sara Groves is an American
contemporary Christian singer, record
producer and author. She has been an
inspiration to many through her music.
Groves recently announced the release
of her 13th studio album, “Abide With
Me,” on Nov. 17. Following her critically
acclaimed album “Floodplain,” the record
includes songs carefully selected from
Groves’ personal list of hymns, with each
song having provided a source of healing
and comfort to the singer/songwriter
throughout the years. Groves will
perform songs from her current album,
along with old favorites during this
evening of music.

ANNOUNCES
2017-2018 SEASON
The Pittsburgh Camerata will
present four programs that encompass
the breadth and depth of the choral
literature—from the late Middle Ages to
music hot off the press. The program will
include a fall concert titled “Memories
and Remembrances,” a Christmas concert
titled “Magnificat (Bach!) and More,” a
winter concert titled “Heaven to Earth:
Earth to Heaven,” and a summer concert
titled “How Can I Keep From Singing?
An Evening of American Music.”
Subscription tickets are $80
general admission, $75 for seniors
and $20 for full-time students. They
may be purchased in advance by

to the fall, winter and summer concerts
