Gardens Tour
Sunday, June 24 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The tour is sponsored by the Shaler Garden Club for the benefit
of the library and will feature five spectacular gardens.
Tickets for the tour may be purchased at the Shaler North
Hills Library, 1822 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116 for $12
in advance of the tour and $15 the day of the tour. Your ticket
includes visits to the five amazing gardens and a chance to win
a lovely gift basket. The event is held rain or shine. Visit

2018 Shaler Great Local
Gardens Contest
Deadline for entry is July 9
Do you have a beautiful garden? Please consider sharing your
garden with the community by participating in the Shaler Great
Local Gardens Contest. The Shaler Garden Club and Shaler North
Hills Library want to honor your hard work and creativity. Or, you
may nominate neighbors, friends, relatives, students or community
gardens in Shaler or surrounding areas.
It’s easy to enter. Just submit 5 photos of your garden, plus
a description of what makes your garden special. All types of
gardens will be considered. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5
gardens. Drop off or mail your entry by the deadline Monday,
July 6th to Shaler North Hills Library, 1822 Mt. Royal Blvd.,
Glenshaw, PA 15116. Photos will not be returned. Winners will
be announced Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Winners will have the
opportunity to be a part of the 2019 Great Gardens Tour. For more
