THE FIRST ANNUAL MILLVALE MUSIC FESTIVAL
On May 13, the streets of Millvale were
filled with music during the 2017 Millvale
Music Festival.
The day-long event supported and featured
local musical acts of many genres while also
showcasing fun and unique Millvale venues.
Over 100 bands at more than a dozen stages
were a part of the community’s first annual
celebration.
The festival was built on the success of other
local community music festivals, but especially
highlighted the growing cultural presence and
businesses in Millvale.
The venues included GAP Community
Park, The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls, Double L
Bar, Grist House Brewery, Cousin’s Lounge,
Panza Gallery, Millvale Studios, Tupelo
Honey Teas, Millvale Community Library,
Element Church, Smokey’s Tavern, Sidelines
Bar & Grill, The Barking Shark Saloon,
Millvale VFW Post 118, Bar3, Happy Day
Lounge, Good Time Bar and more. All are
located in the small, walking business district
in Millvale that continues to grow into
something special.
Participating artists included Nox Boys, The
Semi-Supervillains, Chrome Moses, Jimbo
and The Soupbones, Working Breed, The YJJs,
