What is LIFE Pittsburgh?

LIFE Pittsburgh is a local, nonprofit organization and
member of the national PACE Association that provides
comprehensive and integrative care to seniors that
may not otherwise be able to live independently at
home. LIFE Pittsburgh is an all-inclusive program who
provides care, both social and medical, to seniors in
western Allegheny County. The LIFE program provides
all Medicare and Medicaid home and community-based
services including a Day Health Center. LIFE Pittsburgh
has served over 1,900 seniors in 20 years of experience.
The LIFE program is a proven model of care that allows
seniors to live independently while receiving the services
and support they need in the comfort of their own home.
WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED?
The hallmark of the LIFE program is the Interdisciplinary
Team (IDT), which consists of a physician, registered nurse,
dietician, physical, occupational and recreational therapist,
social workers, personal care assistants and more. The
IDT meets daily to discuss the unique needs of each
individual and modify care plans as participants’ needs
change. The continuous coordination of care sets the
LIFE program apart from any other care model, while
ensuring quality of life to its participants.

HOW MUCH DOES LIFE PITTSBURGH COST?
Health care is expensive; however, with LIFE Pittsburgh,
there are no costs to receive services for those who
qualify. That means no monthly premiums, deductibles
or co-pays. There is also no waiting list to receive services!
