HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Program to be announced.
Ross Township’s historical society will meet on Friday, May 18th
at 6:30 at the Township Community Center. The meeting will
have a presentation from Ronald Earl Nicely of Ligonier about his
book, “The Indian Capture of Jacob (Kneisle) Nicely”. The Nicely
family had a 228 year reunion in 2004 of the capture.
Please join the historical society for their bi-monthly meetings at
the Ross Municipal Building. All meetings are free and open to
the public.

There is plenty to look forward to in 2018. One of the first
events of the year will be his annual Job Fair which will be
held on Friday, March 16th from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the
Ross Township Municipal Building in the gymnasium. Come
meet with employers hiring in and around the Pittsburgh area.
Those attending are encouraged to bring several copies of their
resume.
