This year, Ross was one of the first communities ever to earn Platinum Certification in the Sustainable Pennsylvania Community Certification Program, the highest level of achievement in the program. Ross was also awarded an Active Allegheny Grant for multimodal transportation planning. The overall goal of the planning process is to study where it might be feasible to incorporate walking and biking options township-wide. At the same time, an assessment will also be conducted to determine where connections can be made among the 22 township-owned parks. IT’S FALL AND TIME TO COMPOST!
