Natalie Telentso’s home
country, Ukraine.

I’m meeting Natalie Telentso at the School of Design for an interview about icons
she has designed in response to the Ukrainian crisis. As I get to the school, I rifle
through my pockets for my smartphone. It’s one of many lifelines for a college kid,
and I’m making sure it’s charged so I can record the interview.
