Following Rolston was a panel discussion on wearable
technology, moderated by Tom Emrich of We Are
Wearables, in which Kate Hartman of Social Body Lab;
Dr. Karl Martin of Bionym; and Loretta Faveri of Sonic
Wear discussed the future impacts of smart clothing.
Notably, Martin presented Bionym’s Nymi, a smart
wristband that serves as an all-in-one authenticating
device, synced up to the user’s unique heartbeat.
