The Living Dead Museum is a celebration of zombies in pop
culture. Located in the city of George A. Romero’s original film,
“Night of the Living Dead,” the themed attraction takes fans
through a visual history of zombies in cinema and pop culture.
Displays of props and memorabilia are woven into a presentation
featuring interactive experiences, and do some zombie gift

THE MARIDON MUSEUM

The Maridon opened in May 2004. It’s the only museum
in the western PA region with a specific focus on Asian art
and culture coupled with German Meissen porcelain. The
museum—both the objects and the buildings that house
them—is the gift of Mary Hulton Phillips. Visit the website for

HARMONY MUSEUM

Historic Harmony, Inc. was founded in 1943 and operates the
Harmony Museum, which interprets 250 years of rich history.
There are presentations that include George Washington’s 1753
mission, Harmonists, Mennonites, and the Ball Collection of
outstanding sporting rifles by 19th century Harmony gunsmith

HARTWOOD ACRES MANSION

Preserved within Hartwood Acres Park is one of the largest
and most spectacular country estates in the region. Hartwood
consists of a stately Tudor mansion (erected in 1929), cottage,
stable complex and gate lodge (erected in 1927). Designed by
Alfred Hopkins for John and Mary Flinn Lawrence, the mansion
houses an excellent collection of original English and American
antiques. Its 16th century architectural design affords both
young and old opportunity to glimpse into a part of Pittsburgh’s

DEPRECIATION LANDS MUSEUM

Targeted to open this spring/summer, this replica of a
one‑room schoolhouse will contain a collection of North
Allegheny School District photographs, documents, yearbooks
and sports memorabilia; 20th
