Don’t miss Brian M. Wargo as he
showcases the esoteric and often unknown
activity of hawk watching, using pictures
and stories, which he has documented in
his book, “Bird: An Exploration of Hawk
Watching.” Wissahickon is the only general
nature club in the Pittsburgh area. Every
member has something to contribute.
The group shares a diverse knowledge,
experience and enthusiasm for the natural
world at meetings and on outings in the
field. All meetings are free and open to the
public. The programs begin at 7:30 p.m.
but arrive at 7 p.m. to share coffee, tea and
a potluck dessert. Bring a friend!
