FIND YOUR STRONG
FIT HOUSE – A community that trains hard, sweats hard and
loves to have fun! We believe that training hard, nourishing
your body and feeding your spirit is a great recipe for life.
O
ver decades of teaching
fitness to people, Fit House
owner Christine Parker
has learned that the most
important thing about exercise next to
moving efficiently, effectively and safely
is to make sure it’s fun.
“We want people to have a positive
experience at Fit House, where they
leave challenged, energized and ready
to come back for more,” she said. “There’s
an intimidation factor with people who
haven’t worked out for a while, or who
are just getting back into exercise. Our
classes are higher-
intensity classes
focusing on building
strength as well as
conditioning the
body, but our goal
is to meet people
where they are. We
have an excellent,
educated staff who
ensure that people
get safe, effective and fun workouts. It’s
never our mission for people to leave
saying, ‘I had to crawl out of there.’”
Fit House accomplishes this by offering
a multitude of classes ranging from
Yoga for All and Tabata Basics to Tread
and Shred and Cardio Crush. It also has
ongoing special programs and challenges
that help educate members and motivate

them to set goals and get fit together.
Group classes are cycled to train various
body parts and allow recovery between
workouts so that daily members can get
the best results and avoid overtraining.
According to Parker, the passion of the
Fit House team and the quality of the
instructors puts it over the top when it
comes to member safety and progress.
“I was a professional dancer and
gymnast,” she explains. “I love to train
hard but my roots are in understanding
alignment, quality of movement and the
core. That’s where it all starts. We focus
on helping members
understand how to
move to feel their
best and get the best
results. Our team
helps them to learn
how to move in a way
that’s best for their
body and addresses
imbalances they may
not realize are there.
A lot of times, people don’t get that in a
group fitness environment, and it’s one of
the things that sets us apart.”
Outside the studio, Fit House also
helps members stay connected and
accountable through an app and the
MyZone system, which helps them track
their workouts and weight, and record
quarterly assessments.

If you’re just getting back into a fit
lifestyle, or just starting out for the
first time, Fit House has small group
instruction available too.
“Group fitness isn’t right for everyone,
so that’s why we evolved into our small
group training and offer personal training
as well,” Parker said. “If someone prefers a
more hands-on approach or just a more
intimate environment, they have an
injury or haven’t worked out in five years,
we may recommend they start out with
small group or personal training. There’s
no better investment than your health,
so we try to provide as many options as
possible for people to make healthier
choices for themselves that fit their
needs.”
Fit House is open seven days a week
for classes and programming. It also has
a massage therapist on staff available
by appointment. So if you’re ready to
explore the latest evolution in fitness,
as well as add some fun to your next
workout, Fit House is waiting for you.
