There aren ’ t too many businesses around that can trace their history back to 1889 , but Miller ’ s Ace Hardware is one of them . Started by the Miller family four generations ago , the business opened a Bethel Park location in 1948 and a McMurray location in 1963 , growing slowly but steadily all the while .

“ Our advantage is depth of product and product knowledge that you ’ re only going to find in the smaller hardware stores ,” Greg said . “ We also focus on premium products in unique categories that you ’ re not going to find at a big box .”

In addition , Miller ’ s Ace Hardware offers assembly and delivery , and plans to offer same-day local

“ We have a full rental department , and a repair department that does screens , windows , lamps , power equipment and glass cutting ,” Greg said . “ We do our best to keep the money in the community here , focusing on local sourcing , as much as possible .”
In addition to the local community appeal , Miller ’ s also has the full backing and name of Ace Hardware as its affiliate , meaning that employees will always have the latest knowledge and training on products , trends and repairs provided to them by one of the country ’ s leaders in the home improvement industry .
