If you are in third , fourth or fifth grade , and you like to solve problems , find out how things work and create things from your imagination , sign up for some engineering fun . Evening Baby & Toddler Time Wednesday , April 4 , at 6:30 p . m . Parents , grandparents , babies & toddlers come together for a half-hour of tickles , bounces , songs and nursery rhymes to build important pre-reading skills . No registration needed ; just toddle on in .
Annual Family Sleepover Friday , April 6 , from 7 : 30 p . m . until 8 a . m . Saturday , April 7 Join in some fun , crafts , games , stories and songs . Children in kindergarten through fourth grade and their families are invited to participate . Bring your favorite pillow / stuffed animal , pj ’ s , sleeping bag or blankets and a snack to share . Cost is $ 5 per person to cover crafts and breakfast . Please register each member of your family for this fun overnight program . Registration and payment must be done at the Children and Teen Services Desk between March 15 and April 2 . Space is limited .
Family Fun Night Science * Technology * Engineering & Math Fun Tuesday , April 10 , from 7 to 8 p . m . Families with children in kindergarten through 5th grade will have fun exploring various STEM activities . Children must attend with an adult . Zachariah OHora Author Visit Wednesday , April 11 , at 6:30 p . m . Ross Community Center Zachariah OHora , nationally known author and illustrator , will be talking with kids about his writing and drawing . Crafts , activities and a book signing round out the evening . If you are a “ My Cousin Momo ,” “ The Not So Quiet Library ” or a “ No Fits , Nilson !” fan , you won ’ t want to miss this . No registration required . This program is intended for children from preschool age through second grade .

Art Sounds like a Super Plan ! Fridays , April 13 , 20 & 27 , from 3:30 to 5:30 p . m . The Commonwealth vs . Harry Potter Saturday , May 19 , at 10:30 a . m . Join the Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association for a wizarding world mock trial . Jurors will be selected from the audience to decide the guilt or innocence of the boy wizard . Aurors will be on hand to discourage spell casting .
