Students have the opportunity to excel beyond the classroom through internships and observations with local employers and volunteering within non-profit organizations . Students will gain valuable industry recognized experience through a variety of options .

Beattie Career Center is consistently rated by the PA Department of Education as one of the top performing Career Centers for high school students who are enrolled in post-secondary education , employed in their field of study or engaged in military services one year after graduation .
