40 Murrysville
As our students, families, and teachers are enjoying a well-deserved
summer break, I want to congratulate them on another successful school
year. I also sincerely hope that you and your family have the same
opportunity to spend time together and recharge your batteries over these
summer months.
As the District looks toward the future, and with the support from our
Board of School Directors, we have completed our comprehensive facility
study and will move into the facility design phase for a comprehensive
elementary campus. The plans for a connected elementary campus on the
Sloan campus will provide our young Panthers with a world-class learning
environment that meets their social, emotional, and educational needs.
Our multi-year master facility plan will enable Franklin Regional to address
its facility needs and offer comprehensive and innovative educational
opportunities.
This edition of IN Murrysville highlights some of the impressive
accomplishments of our students and staff. These accolades include several
multi-media awards earned by our students and staff member, tributes
to our band, outstanding wins by our design teams, and many other
accomplishments. I am so proud of these individuals who continue to make
Franklin Regional a great place to live, learn, play and work.
As our journey to provide a world-class educational system continues, we
look forward to the future successes of our students and staff. Our school
community remains steadfast in our resolve to provide an exceptional
educational experience for every student who enters our doors. Therefore, I
would like to personally thank you for your ongoing support of the Franklin
Regional School District.
Sincerely,
Dr. Gennaro R. Piraino, Jr.
