or over a decade, Imperial Tax has been a staple of the

owned by Matthew Connell, CPA, prides itself on putting

the South Hills with the opening of Imperial Tax South Hills, LLC
in Summerfield Commons, off of Washington Road.

Michael Anderson, CPA, will be operating the South Hills
office. With over 14 years of experience in public accounting, he
brings a wealth of knowledge that will meet the needs of both
individuals and business owners.
“We try to take the very complex and make it understandable;
that’s what we’re shooting for,” Anderson said. “The whole
premise of our business is to minimize tax burdens and create an
environment of clear communication with clients. So many times
people leave their accountant’s office more confused than they
were when they got there. It shouldn’t be that way. We want to
put our clients’ minds at ease.”
Michael and Matthew are collaborating their efforts at
Imperial Tax South Hills, but it is not the first time they have been
teammates.
“We played baseball together in high school,” said Connell.
“I know Michael and I know what kind of dedication he has to
his family and his career. He’s smart and he’s one of the hardest
workers I know. It was a no-brainer to add a guy like that to our
team. Honestly, I’ve been very fortunate to have such a great
team of professionals in my Imperial office the past 11 years and
I have no doubt that with Michael’s leadership our South Hills
office will thrive.”
