The ST&R, a one-of-a-kind campus for
orthopedic diagnostics, treatment and
rehabilitation, is available to athletes
and nonathletes alike
Though Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research (ST&R) at
The Star in Frisco will offer services that cater to professional athletes,
the facility—a collaboration among the Dallas Cowboys, Baylor Scott
& White Health and the Frisco Independent School District—is
designed so that anyone can use it.
Blake Jenkins, DO, a family medicine physician to be located at the
ST&R, says, “Physicians and other service providers at the ST&R will
help a large population of patients, from the 30-year-old who exercises
all the time to the 65-year-old playing pickleball.” The facility also will
serve the high school athletes in the Frisco Independent School District.
The providers who will serve at the ST&R can treat a full range of
