MAC Plans Another Year of Promoting the Arts in Monroeville

Until recently , the availability of art workshops for amateur and experienced artists in the area was extremely limited — but Monroeville Arts Council has risen to address that challenge . It is now offering workshops conducted by award-winning artists and art teachers to those interested in expanding their skills and knowledge in the visual arts .

In accordance with its mission of “ Promoting the Arts in the Community ,” MAC offers twice-yearly workshops in the Monroeville Public Library Program Room at no charge for the instruction ( non-members pay a nominal materials fee only ). These events , held every March and October , are geared to those teens and adults who are interested in art regardless of their level of ability or experience . Each insightful and userfriendly offering allows the attendees to leave with an artwork worthy of framing and with new knowledge to enhance their learning and previous experience . Recent Saturday
