KEYSTONE OAKS SCHOOL DISTRICT Building a Foundation of Excellence Keystone Oaks announces new online registration process Keystone Oaks is now utilizing an online registration system for new students, offering families a more convenient way to enroll their student in school, and allowing them to complete the forms electronically and upload all of the required documentation directly into the District’s student information system. Families that are registering a student for the current 2017-2018 school year can begin the registration process online now. Families that are enrolling a student for the 2018- 2019 school year, including students who will be entering kindergarten, may begin the registration process on February 22, 2018. 4. Upon registering, parents/guardians must bring hard copies of their child’s birth certificate and two proofs of residency to Pupil Services, located in Keystone Oaks High School. Keystone Oaks will offer two evening registration events for families that may need assistance with the online process or who may need access to a computer: n Thursday, February 22, 2018 – following the Kindergarten Open House and only for families with students entering kindergarten in the 2018-2019 school year. n Thursday, April 19, 2018 – 5 – 7:30 p.m., Keystone Oaks Middle School Library. Registration hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1p.m. to 3 p.m. Welcome to Kindergarten! Keystone Oaks School District offers a full-day kindergarten program that is designed to ensure that your child is engaged in a supportive learning environment and learns the skills necessary for educational success through a variety of interactive, hands-on lessons and activities. Throughout the week, kindergarten students are given the opportunity to integrate STEAM, art, music, library and physical education classes into their schedule. Teachers also plan creative projects that allow students to learn while having fun! Children who are 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2018 may attend kindergarten during the 2018-2019 school year. Families who are enrolling a student in kindergarten for To begin the process, families must: 1. Call Keystone Oaks’ Registration Secretary to verify their address and obtain an Enroll Code. 2. Visit the New Student Registration page on the District’s website and click the link to enroll. 3. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up a PowerSchool account, complete the enrollment forms, and upload the required documents. 28 KEYSTONE OAKS the 2018-2019 school year can register online beginning February 22, 2018. Once you start the registration process, you will need to upload a birth certificate, dental and physical examination forms, an immunization record, and two proofs of residency into the system. You must also bring a hard copy of the birth certificate and two proofs of residency to the Pupil Services Office during normal business hours.
